One year ago in June: The New York Public Library

Majestic…! The first word that comes to mind as I enter into the large marble hall. I climb the stairs, sit on a bench and observe. The ornate ceilings, the heavy lamp lights, the people. Some move decisively, with a purpose. Others are lingering. They are tourists, like me. I always felt at home in buildings with secret corners. I take a deep breath… There is something soothing about the musty smell from old paper that lingers in the air and saturates the walls; with Knowledge.
